CAPTURA - Potential Tools Integration ( Data-Flo & Microreact )
Added by Steven (eSHIFT) Uggowitzer over 2 years ago
I was just reviewing the work done by CAPTURA at www.ivi.int. This is in association with Fleming Regional Grant . See https://captura.ivi.int/activities
CAPTURA team have made use of 3 key technologies in their work . These are:
- Epicollect5 -- https://five.epicollect.net/ https://www.pathogensurveillance.net/ In particular, have a look at : https://www.pathogensurveillance.net/our-software/ These are some really interesting links.
- Data-Flo -- https://data-flo.io/ https://github.com/data-flo/code "Open-source, modular, and extensible data integration "
- Open-source, modular, and extensible data integration
- Effortless integration through data transformation pipelines.
- Friction-free data sharing.
- Compose pipelines within the user interface.
- Funded and used by CDC.
- Open-source, modular, and extensible data integration
- Microreact https://microreact.org/ <-- wow, this one looks like several amazing visualisations!!!!
- Open data visualisation and sharing for genomic epidemiology
- Definable and editable metadata fields for to display on visualisations.
- Pin-point time specific events using the time time-slider.
- Endorsed by CDC, ECDC and PHE for routine investigation of public health incidents
- Visualise and explore trees linked to geographic locations.
- Open data visualisation and sharing for genomic epidemiology
And finally they have a CAPTURA "Unstructured Data" Data Warehouse. The project link for this is here https://captura.ivi.int/ https://captura.ivi.int/about ( Includes several partners like WHONET https://www.publichealthsurveillance.com/ Bill MacWright and his team from PHSG Prof. David Aanensen and team from the Big Data Institute .
Questions:
- Should we approach the Centre for Genomic Pathogen Surveillance ?
- Are these packages relevant to our platform?
- Should I/we do any work to see what it would take to integrate into AoS.Health/AMR?
- Might microreact.org be the right kind of visualisation tool for other work like the recent Zambia RFP???
